An OC for the on going Diablo fancomic, I'm drawing with . The comic is set in Lut Gholein and it’s near deserts. And since we don't have a working title for this whole thing, I arbitrarly named it the ' Rise of the Blood Prince' temporarly (hence RotBP). I'm sure she is going to kick my arse for this.
’Biography’:
Barykael is doing the same as his idealized brother, though he stands well lower in the hiearchy than he. While Tyrael has the full rights and respect as a warrior (I assume has/had), Bary is merely a scout/messenger, just a simple rookie. Humble and loyal to his faction he wishes to be just as good a warrior as his ideal. As one devoted so much to Tyrael and his mentality, he can get easily fustrated if somebody is making fun of his hero and make him say rushed comments/acts he doesn’t really dares to explain or continue being afraid of getting rejected amongst his fellow comrades. Due to this he is seen more of an introvert person amongst his brethren as he tries to show of a calm attitude, with more or less success. He is often set to the dilemma if he really is going to follow his orders inch by inch – while totally alienating himself from the denizens of Sanctuary – staying true to his faction; or going the less glorious and darker path of Tyrael and being truly honest to the ideals he represents.

Backstory:
The latest events of the war (DiabloII) made his decision even harder as it made him uncertain if it would worth taking the risk to oppose the HH as Tyrael did. In the story this is his first duty on Sanctuary alone. Being vulnerable and shaken mentally, he can be easily distracted and manipulated by more powerful entities inhabiting the dunes. His mission is to sniff around the area of a high priority tomb, see if everything(/everyone?) is in it’s place and report to superiors. Without anybody from his ranks to accompany him on his scout mission and overwhelmed by lonliness in his fragile state of mind he gets lost in the desert and ends up the opposite way he should have gone. After realizing this and turning back he joins a caravan and accompanies a barbarian woman on her way to Lut Gholein to meet her two friends. When arriving he briefly talks to the party finding out they are treasure hunters heading for the same tomb he was supposed to inspect. After walking aimlessly the streets of Lut Gholein for hours, he decides to join them catching up with them in the gates.

Equipment:
A short sword he carries on his back; a side pack with his orders, his still empty report and other personal stuff.
Trivia:
Upon seeing the caravan he hides his ’tentacle’ wings, not wanting unwanted attention.
Ever since meeting the barbarian he hasn’t taken of his hood, claiming he is too fugly.
No sword and gourd on pic 'cos I'm lazy.
